Adriana Chan
Marketing Director
Adriana Chan, the CMO of the New York Alliance(s) of Housing NPO, is a current student at Manhasset High School and a dedicated member of her surrounding community. Adriana has spent hundreds of hours over the past two years dedicated to building deeper connections with those in her hometown. For example, as treasurer of her school’s Key Club, Adriana has worked closely with her fellow high schoolers to plan town events and fundraisers to promote small businesses and bolster community engagement. Through small business pop-ups, counseling at an after-school program, and packaging over 41 thousand meals with her town’s food pantry, Adriana has made a profound impact on her local community. She now hopes to expand her range of service beyond her hometown. Recently shifting her focus to the housing crisis in the New York metro area, Adriana strives to educate the public on the shortage of affordable housing which affects the lives of over one million people in her home state. She hopes that through her time working with the NYAH she can achieve her greater goal of inspiring fellow community members to dedicate their own time to public service. In due time, Adriana hopes to encourage community members to improve and dispute the challenges within their own society, leading towards a more unified and supportive community.
